🇬🇧 United Kingdom · 2017 · 🙈 Never used
Years of planning. Tens of millions spent. Zero bridges.
💸 Guess, then reveal the price
£43 million public money
Technically the greenest bridge ever: it never used a single brick.
What actually happened
About £43 million of the total came from public bodies (£19m Department for Transport, £24m Transport for London). The project was scrapped in August 2017 before construction started.
